The Association is governed by the General Committee under the chairmanship of the Commodore.
A copy of the Rules and Constitution are available in Acrobat (.pdf) and all members are advised to read these.
An Annual General Meeting is held in the January or February of each
year at which the main business of the Association is conducted, and includes:
a) Commodores address, summarising the past year activities.
b) General Secretary's report.
c) Regional Vice-Commodores reports.
d) Membership Secretary's report.
e) Treasurer's report and accounts.
f) Reports from the Technical Co-ordinator and Editor and others as may
be available.
g) Election of Officers.
h) Presentation of Trophies.
i) Any Other Business.
All members will receive at least fourteen days notice of the date, time
and place of a meeting with the details of the business that is to be discussed.
Members are encouraged to participate in the AGM, and to consider putting
themselves forward for election as an officer, and in the role of a member
of the supporting team of technical experts etc.
