Lynx 29 'Penny'

Built 1984 - a tough solid seagoing fin keeled yacht in good sound condition for her age. She’s carried us home safely in all weathers. L22 'Ella'

Built in 1975 and is currently ashore at Hoo nr Rochester in Kent. She retains her original gelcoat and was fitted with a new skeg last year (see my article in Saltings Oct 09). The mainsail is less than 2yrs old and drops between lazyjacks into a new zipped sail cover. The jib is Plastimo roller-reefing. Ella. She retains a trusty Mini Petter diesel engine (with a new exhaust) which has been newly serviced and comes with a spare engine with all ancillaries. Electrical power is provide by twin batteries. The interior looks very smart with new upholstery, headlinings, varnished woodwork and an oak slatted floor. A new new Jabsco toilet has also been fitted. She is equipped with a NASA Clipper Duet log and sounder and VHF Radio in addition to the usual navigation/interior/steaming lights. The galley comprises an Origo Spirit stove in gimbals. She has a boarding ladder, horse shoe lifebuoy with emergency light and is also fitted with a Plastimo compass and 30m multiplait + 5m chain to a Danforth anchor. Leisure 23 Sails

Sails are from a Leisure 23 (not SL) and are as follows:- 2 main sails (both have hanks) - £35 each. One Genoa (Rockall with hanks) £45. All are in fair condition though the hanks could do with a bit of cleaing up. Can sell separately - Genoa comes with a large sail bag. Can be collected/viewed near Gosport or be posted with cost of p & p. More photos are available.
